This all started with my dad.

He’s the reason I’m in business today, both with our current stores and with this new venture. For over 24 years, my dad ran his own business. Like many others, COVID hit hard, and eventually he had no choice but to close it and step into retirement.

Last year, as his savings began to run low, he sat down and did the math. The reality was tough. Living in California on his retirement income just wasn’t sustainable. He even mentioned that in a few years he might have to return to his home country, where the cost of living is much lower.

I told him, “Let me and my brothers help you financially.” The look he gave me said everything. No words needed.

That moment stayed with me.

For over a year, I searched for a new business where my dad could be involved again. Something meaningful. Something sustainable. Then one day, an old friend texted me and said he was working on a new business concept and asked if I wanted to work together.

That was it.

The idea was simple but powerful. A custom phone case vending machine that prints high quality phone cases in just three minutes

The plan came together fast. We could place machines in shopping centers, and my dad would handle maintenance and restocking for each location. Today, we have three machines ready to go, currently located inside our Invisible Armor stores in Santa Ana and Orange.

And that’s how Ink & Armor Custom Phone Case Kiosk was born.
